Why Can't I Access Pro Features?

Troubleshoot why your Pro features may not be unlocked even after upgrading.

Why Can't I Access Pro Features?

If you've upgraded to Pro but can't access Video Mode, detailed scorecards, or other Pro features, here's what to try.

Step 1: Confirm Your Upgrade Went Through

  1. Go to Subscription from your profile menu
  2. Check if it shows your current plan as Pro
  3. If it still shows Free, the payment may not have processed

Step 2: Check Your Email for a Receipt

Stripe sends an automatic receipt for successful payments. Check the inbox for the email address associated with your Whirl account, including spam/junk folders.

Step 3: Log Out and Log Back In

Sometimes a fresh login is needed to sync your subscription status:

  1. Click your profile icon and select Sign Out
  2. Log back in
  3. Check if Pro features are now accessible

Step 4: Hard Refresh the App

Press Ctrl+Shift+R (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+R (Mac) to force a full reload of the app.

Step 5: Make Sure You're Logged Into the Right Account

If you have multiple email addresses, ensure you're logged in with the one you used to purchase Pro.

Still Locked Out?

Contact support@whirlinterview.com with:

  • Your account email
  • The date and approximate time you upgraded
  • A screenshot of your Subscription page

We'll verify your payment and manually unlock your account if needed.
