Reviewing Your Video Interview Recording

After completing a Video Mode session, Whirl saves your recording so you can review your performance.

Accessing Your Recording

  1. Go to your Dashboard or Interview History
  2. Find the session you want to review
  3. Click View Feedback
  4. Navigate to the Recording tab

What You'll See

  • Your video — Watch yourself back to spot body language habits
  • Transcript — A full text transcript of the conversation
  • Scorecard — Your performance breakdown

Tips for Reviewing Your Recording

  • Watch with the sound off first — focus purely on body language, posture, and facial expressions
  • Then listen back without watching — focus on clarity, pacing, and filler words
  • Compare your answers to the Improved Sample Answers in the scorecard

Common Things to Watch For

  • ❌ Looking away from the camera frequently
  • ❌ Excessive filler words ("um", "like", "you know")
  • ❌ Speaking too fast or too slow
  • ❌ Slouching or poor posture
  • ✅ Confident, direct eye contact with the camera
  • ✅ Clear, structured answers
  • ✅ Natural, conversational tone
