Getting Started with Video Mode
Video Mode puts you face-to-face with an AI interviewer, simulating a real video call interview experience.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have:
- ✅ A working webcam
- ✅ A working microphone
- ✅ A modern browser (Chrome or Edge recommended)
- ✅ A quiet environment with good lighting
Enabling Camera & Microphone Permissions
When you start a Video Mode session, your browser will ask for permission to access your camera and microphone.
- Click Allow when prompted
- If you accidentally denied access, click the camera icon in the browser address bar and change permissions to Allow
- Refresh the page and try again
Starting a Video Session
- Go to New Interview
- Select Video as your mode
- Configure your job details, stage, and difficulty
- Click Start Interview
- You'll be taken to the interview lobby — confirm your camera and mic are working
- Click Begin to start the session
During the Session
- The AI avatar will speak each question aloud
- Speak your answer clearly into your microphone
- Your video is recorded for your review
- A transcript is generated automatically
Ending the Session
Click End Interview when you're done. Your recording and transcript will be saved and your scorecard will be generated.
